How We Impact the Community
We are Napa’s leading animal rescue organization helping businesses and individuals to reduce the number of feral cats. We help to trap/spay/neuter cats and kittens, we foster and tame them, provide lifesaving care and vaccinations, and facilitate adoption services. Whiskers, Tails and Ferals spays and neuters over 1200 animals per year.
We help to locate low cost spay/neuter options for Napa residents and help to find new homes for pets whose owners are unable to continue caring for them.
Our Napa-based, 100% volunteer organization rescued, fostered and facilitated the adoption of over 1,000 cats and dogs in 2023. Many of our rescue animals are the most vulnerable – they require medications or surgeries, all of which are too expensive for the local shelter to pay for. We step in and provide necessary medical attention, food and loving foster homes, and ensure that these animals find forever families.

A rabies vaccine or a microchip for a vulnerable animal.

A series of vaccines, or a month’s worth of cat food for a low-income pet household.
