Napa Valley College Foundation

Our mission is to provide every Napa Valley College (NVC) student access to an exceptional, relevant, and affordable education. We provide philanthropic support to the college, its programs, students and teaching initiatives and raise capital funds for workforce training facilities to meet the needs of the Napa economy. For many students, a higher education would not be possible without the assistance of scholarships. 47% of NVC students identify as Latinx/Hispanic and more than 30% are the first in their families to receive a college degree. We engage the Napa community by cultivating relationships, initiating partnerships and harnessing generosity for our students. The cornerstone of our fund development program is our scholarship program that has allowed us to assist over 1,000 students through the award of more than $1M in the past five years. Last year, we awarded $247,000 in scholarships to 219 students.
