How We Impact the Community
Our all-volunteer foster-based rabbit rescue started out in November 2019 when several individuals came together to clear a dump site of domestic rabbits in the city of Napa. Our mission is to improve the lives of rabbits and reduce the number of unwanted rabbits through education and spay/neuter efforts. In addition to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming domestic rabbits, we focus on education about the responsible and proper care of rabbits as indoor companions.
Rabbits are often acquired on a whim and quickly abandoned because individuals do not realize that they are a big 10+ year commitment and not inexpensive “starter pets” for kids. We have rescued nearly 200 rabbits to date and have seen over 250 furry friends at our low-cost community wellness/vaccination and spay/neuter clinics. Through our educational and prevention-focused services we have reached countless existing and potential bunny guardians. Occasionally, this means helping someone determine that a rabbit is not the right fit for their family.

What a $10 donation buys
Allows us to provide a free lifesaving RHDV2 vaccination for one rabbit from a low-income family.
What a $50 donation buys
Sufficient milk replacer to make one liter of milk substitute specifically formulated for rabbit kits that need nursing.
