How We Impact the Community
When viticulture thrives so does our entire community.
To that end, we champion sustainable farming and climate-smart farming practices with workshops, field days, videos and communications that lead to water conservation, pest and disease control, low-smoke agricultural burning, fire prevention and mitigation, and more.
We work to foster tomorrow’s leaders by connecting young people to agriculture. Our members serve as mentors to high school students via the Patrick Foley Fields of Opportunity summer program. We offer an in-depth introduction to Napa Valley’s viticultural industry for college students through our University Outreach Program and we provide a social network for young professionals via Paso Adelante.
We strengthen our community through the preservation of agriculture, so we work to raise awareness about its importance by inviting Napa County residents to vineyard walks, educational talks with growers, public forums, and resource fairs.
