VOICES

How We Impact the Community
VOICES is dedicated to empowering vulnerable youth emancipating from systems of care. We provide vital support, acceptance, and accountability during their transition to independence/adulthood. Through our youth-led programs, we focus comprehensively on their mental and physical health, education, career development, and skills for independent living. In 2023, nearly 1,700 youth from Napa County benefited from our services.
Many of these young individuals have experienced hardships such as child abuse, neglect, homelessness, and incarceration; often resulting in ongoing trauma. We work closely with them on goal setting and planning, providing essential guidance to navigate and mitigate behaviors stemming from past traumas. Our unique Youth Engagement Model empowers participants by enabling them to design and lead programs tailored to their specific needs, leveraging peer support among youth to foster resilience and create pathways to personal and professional success.
