Napa Valley Vine Trail Coalition

How We Impact the Community
We are a grass roots coalition leading the effort to design, fund, construct, and maintain a 47-mile family and pet friendly paved walking and biking trail system from Vallejo to Calistoga. When complete, 85% of Napa County residents will live within 10 minutes of the Vine Trail.
Access to walking and biking trails that are separated from automobile traffic improves and enhances the physical and mental health of our communities. It also benefits the planet by providing a safe, car-free option for moving around and between our communities.
The NVVTC offers programs focused on environmental stewardship and education to younger individuals in our community through our Ag Respect program. These initiatives help foster a sense of responsibility and community involvement, enhancing understanding of, and connection to, the local environment. The NVVTC emphasizes Ag Respect in every conversation and educates participants about the uniqueness of Napa County’s Ag Preserve.
The Vine Trail serves our communities every day, while also helping to promote the Napa Valley as a wellness destination.
Testimonial
I can’t think of anything in the Napa Valley that benefits a wider variety of people. Young, old, fast, slow, visitor, local, commuter, recreational user, walker, biker, skater, scooterer, 2 legged, 4 legged, 1 legged (that’s me). Soon, we’ll be over halfway to completing it. Please consider giving.
What a $10 donation buys
Leverages $40 in additional federal and state grants for new Trail construction. $7.50 = 4 pavers.
What a $50 donation buys
Every $47 donation allows the Coalition the opportunity to continue building, maximizing, and
maintaining the Vine Trail.
