Fair Housing Napa Valley (FHNV)

FHNV is committed to advancing fairness and ensuring equal housing opportunities for everyone. Our mission is to eradicate housing discrimination and support both tenants and landlords through advocacy, counseling, education, training and mediation. FHNV specifically targets its efforts towards low-income tenants and the most vulnerable members of our community. As the sole agency of its kind in Napa, we are dedicated to advancing housing equity for all Napa residents through our programs. As costs of living continue to increase, housing insecurity has increased substantially among Napa residents (especially low income and BIPOC residents). The demand for FHNV’s services has increased as well, highlighted by the 882 households we have assisted in the past year alone. Out of these households:

• 91% of all tenants assisted were at/below the low-income threshold
• 79% of households included a minor
• 30% included a household member w/disability
• 35% were senior households
• 68% of all households were BIPOC, including 60% Latinx
