Aldea Children & Family Services
$9,700 raised from 59 donations
How We Impact the Community
We are the essential community partner for children and families in crisis. We are indispensable clinical experts in mental health treatment, prevention, substance use disorder, treatment foster care, and adoption services throughout Napa County. Last year Aldea responded to over 300 emergency placement calls, supported almost 20 youth in their transition out of foster care into independent living, and provided substance use prevention and treatment services to over 600 youth.
Every day our trusted, expert clinicians work with children and families in their most vulnerable moments, to bring both short-term comfort and long-term resilience. Each child deserves a community of trusted professionals who show up without judgment, supporting them in their most critical time of need.
We empower thousands of children, teens, and family caregivers to discover their own abilities and strengths each year. Our donors help Aldea expand its reach deeper into marginalized and historically excluded communities.
Testimonial
Community Organizations Active in Disaster (COAD) is deeply thankful for Aldea’s partnership in offering trauma-informed care workshops to case workers who support community members processing enduring trauma, especially related to the andemic and 2020 wildfires. Aldea is an essential community asset for the welfare of children, families, and community partners.
What a $10 donation buys
Potentially save a life, providing five fentanyl test strips in the community. In 2023 we distributed 1,500 strips
